Is it safe to use sun cure resins to patch dings in my Surftech?

I have heard that sun cure quick fix resins can be used to seal an open ding without any negative effects on the board.

If the resin itself does not cause problems with the foam, The heat given off while curing may.

I knew that something was wrong by the two raised bumps in the tail of this board.
